Hosting Support / Re: DDoS Attack on Servers
« on: October 16, 2016, 07:54:09 AM »
Finally able to access the Forums. Gosh, how sad! :( Hope everything's okay soon.

Things at my site ( still aren't running as smooth as they should be.
Having a lot of issues to properly access the FTP without being kicked out and there are times I can't even connect succesfully to the FTP server. Have been trying to do a file backup for a few hours now. It's a good thing I was able to do a cPanel backup, haha!

How are things now? I have a feeling things aren't working as they should be.
Can you give us (me) an update? I didn't open a new ticket as I still had an issue going on which has been responded to very, very fast. So far I haven't had any issues with's hosting services but things are getting a bit annoying. Hope to see these issues solved soon.

Hosting Support / Downloading/Uploading speed; a bit slow
« on: September 03, 2016, 02:26:32 AM »

I am currently in the midst of backing up my website and I am experiencing some difficulties or more so a bit of an annoying feeling about the download/upload speed. I have checked my own connection, which seems fine so I was wondering if things are a bit slow due to possible traffic or something on the servers. If so, what would be the best time to do backups? I'm in the CET (GMT+1, West-Europe) timezone and would love to be able to do backups without being held back too much.

Thanks in advance.

I am currently in the midst of backing up my website and I noticed there's a directory called .well-known in there. I haven't put it there, so I have no idea what it is and what it might be for.

We are not experiencing any performance issues on your server.
Could you please try and update us?
You can open the support ticket if there are any issues. We love to provide support on forums but support ticket gets more priority.

I will keep an eye on things in regards to my question above. If I still have issues, I'll just open a ticket. :-) Thank you.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to let you guys know this, but I have been having issues (well, not issues, it's moreso an annoyance) with the server's upload/download speed. I have been working on Teen Wolf Online this whole afternoon and I've noticed that there's a change in the server's speed. Are you still working on getting things up to speed?

My connection's 50mb download/upload so I shouldn't be having to go through this back-up thing this whole afternoon and I've been wondering what's been the cause of this.

No need to change ns if you are already using ns1 and :)

Does this still apply to us hostees using's nameservers? Just asking 'cause I want to be sure everything's correctly done on my part. My site's current nameservers are As far as I noticed and I'm aware of, everything at looks perfectly fine and it seems to work perfectly fine as well.

Is it okay for me to now update my sites and the scripts (I.E Coppermine Gallery) and the databases?

First of all I'd like to say thank you for all the great new services that you are providing us (me) with. I do have a question though... is currently offline and is displaying this error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 12288 bytes) in /home/teenwolf/public_html/wp/wp-admin/includes/plugin.php on line 548

What is this? What does this mean?

First like to apologize for this inconvenience.
Sorry, It is stopped so, while we backup, no new data is added to accounts so as to not loose anything on servers to ours.

I will make sure we in future keep more detailed announcement.
We are not 50% done, some large accounts left to be backed up and we will do those within next 24hrs.

FTP will resume in 24 - 36hrs.
I will keep you posted.

Oh okay then it's a good thing, haha!
Thanks for letting me (us) know.

I am aware of the server migrations and anything related to being transferred to FWH, but can anyone tell us how long things will take? I can't access the FTP which is fine, but a little heads up would've been nice 'cause I didn't get a chance to do a backup or anything 'cause we were told that everything would be done starting the 8th of May which is today.

I just hope things go as planned without me and anyone else losing any data whatsoever 'cause that would be awful.

Hosting Support / DNS Issues @

Hi Lindsay,

I was wondering if you were aware of the fact that some sites are offline. I am unable to connect with due to DNS issues according to Google Chrome. What's going on?

I'm going to send in a ticket. Too many hostees are having the same issues and I don't want to risk losing much more downtime and possibly visitors.

Just checked again: is working again!

Teen Wolf Online also appears to be unavailable. I'm getting a ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT or as my friend says a ping timeout.
I am, just like others, also unable to connect to it with FTP.

I assume you guys are aware of it, but just in case you're not I've decided to leave a response here. Looking forward to see this issue solved which I'm sure it will.

Thank you for the awesome hosting services, Lindsay! <3

Hosting Support / Re: No backup feature?
« on: October 17, 2015, 15:04:41 PM »
I was about to ask the same thing.
Will this feature return in the future? I already am used to the FTP way of backing up sites but the cPanel download function was also an ideal one in case you're kind of in a hurry.

Tutorials / How to resize photos and remove EXIF data
« on: August 31, 2015, 05:19:25 AM »
It was mandatory at one point at Starszz to resize all our photos and this is a tutorial that will make things a lot easier.

1) Download FastStone's Photo Resizer.
2) Install the software

As it is pretty straight forward, I will only explain how to remove EXIF data and get the correct settings for resizing.

3) Click on 'Settings'

4) Copy the settings from the screenshot posted below and click on OK

5) Then click on advanced options pretty much below Settings and Browse.
6) Copy the settings from the screenshot posted below and click on OK.

The rest is pretty much optional. You're able to save the options you've selected above and load them in after you did a clean installation. You're also able to watermark images and it'll save you KBs as Coppermine's watermark function takes up a bunch of MBs.
- You're able to rename images in a batch
- You're able to keep the original data from the photos

You're able to do a lot with this program and it'll save up a LOT of time if you're resizing or even renaming your photos. :)

Hosting Support / Re: loads very slow
« on: August 28, 2015, 07:32:30 AM »
I'm not 100% sure this is it, but I think it might be. I took a look at your site's source and saw you still have

Code: [Select]
<script src=""></script>

in your header. Just to test I added it to one of my test sites and it took forever for it to load.

(I hope it's okay I posted!)

Oh gosh, I feel stupid, haha! I thought I got rid of it all as I didn't see any ads whatsoever. I even checked everything twice to make sure.
It does seem to load faster when I use /wp instead of
But yeah, it seems that that was causing it. :P Thank you very much!

Chit Chat / Re: How can I add a matching top navigation to Coppermine?

As far as I know, copying the above (CSS) and .css coding into your template.html and style.css should do the trick. :)
