Questions about Error Logs & Resource Usage in cPanel
« on: March 08, 2016, 15:22:14 PM »
Some features in cPanel I'm definitely clueless about. I got curious and checked out a few things and clicked on "Errors" which displays Error Log messages, and then clicked on "CPU and Concurrent Connection Usage" which displays the Resource Usage Overview. Can Lindsay or anyone else please explain these error logs and the resource limits to me tell me what should I do to make changes/fixes if any needs to be made. I just want to make sure my website runs without errors and problems. I haven't noticed any problems or come across anything unusual with how my site is running, but there are many things within in cPanel I don't understand fully, ya know.

I appreciate any feedback and help understanding both topics I've mentioned above. Thank you!  :) | Official Mike Posner Fansite

Hello Christina,

Regarding the Error Log messages, those are fine. It is just letting you know that access to xmlrpc.php has been denied as you have this directive in your .htaccess (which is a good idea as that file is often hit by bots).

Reaching the Resource Usage limit 42 times, as shown in your screenshot, is okay, and not really a problem. It's fine to just leave that be.

Any other questions do let me know.
