Regarding refund

I opened a ticket and contacted you guys asking for my refund back to my Paypal instead of the credits (which Lindsay always did) and you all said you couldn't do that because it's under new ownership. How is that my problem? I paid my money in advance, cancelled, and didn't use the remaining money and would like it put back into my Paypal. Also, it clearly says on the FAQ page:

IF I AM NOT HAPPY, CAN I GET A REFUND?
Yes, if you are not satisfied we will give you a full refund if you cancel within 60 days. Yearly payments cancelled after 60 days will receive a pro-rated refund for any unused months.

I did all of that. I do NOT want a credit because I am not going to be hosted here ever again. I know it's not a lot of money, but it is still my money and I don't have money to just throw away when it could go to domain renewals, etc. and since I got nowhere opening a ticket, I guess I need to post here, too.

Thank you! I'm just so frustrated and don't mean to come off angry. I just wish we had notice and I wouldn't have paid in advance or I would have done it way before Lindsay left.

Someone told me it was because I sent the money to Lindsay and not you guys, is that correct? I thought it all went in a Stars.BZ account or something.

Thats not true. Lindsey was operating Stars using his Paypal account. Transfer of Paypal  account was not part of buyout.
